About the Role
Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking a dynamic Commercial Business Partner to support the effective delivery of financial and commercial insights, performance monitoring, and strategic budgeting. This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level support in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance monitoring
- Develop and maintain efficient processes and service delivery standards
- Analyse data and provide insights to guide decision-making
- Coordinate funding submissions and evaluate commercial viability of opportunities
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Contribute to team development and continuous improvement
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to maximise revenue and strategic outcomes
Skills and Experience Required
- Tertiary qualifications in business or accounting
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards accreditation
- Proven experience in data analytics, reporting, or research
- Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- High level of attention to detail and data integrity
- Experience in developing business cases and strategic financial planning
- Understanding of government policies and funding processes
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
